Axis GHG Calculation and Reporting Functionality
Oil and gas companies across the world have set targets to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050. To support their ambition, operators are committed to measure emissions at all major oil and gas processing sites and to report the figures transparently.
The Axis GHG (greenhouse gas) calculation and reporting functionality is used by one of our key clients. This allows them to calculate the emissions of CO2, NOx, N2O, SO2, CO, CH4 and VOCs for their critical field development.
The inputs are measurements of fuel gas, flare gas and diesel usage, compositions from sampling and chromatographs, as well as physical properties and attributes such as oxidation factors. Daily and monthly processes calculate the emissions and the results are reported to the UK government in the required format (called EEMS Returns) and submitted through an automatic interface.
