In 2022, Adept Solutions was selected by INEOS FPS to design and implement a new invoicing system, based on Axis, for their Forties Pipeline System (FPS) business. The scope of the work covered both tariff invoicing of customers that deliver hydrocarbons into the pipeline and purchases of gas by INEOS FPS from field equity partners .

The system became operational in early November and is now being used by INEOS FPS to generate and issue over 200 invoices per month to its pipeline customers and gas purchase vendors. The system automates a complex business process that previously required specialist manual intervention. With the new Axis-based solution in place, the monthly invoicing cycle can now be completed more efficiently.
